Pathways To Employment (PTW)Our Pathways to Employment program empowers adults with disabilities to develop the skills and confidence needed to prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment in the community.
Participants receive personalized, hands-on support in a welcoming environment as they learn essential job readiness skills, including: 🌟 Building resumes and completing job applications 🌟 Practicing interview techniques 🌟 Learning how to dress for success 🌟 Developing time management and workplace habits 🌟 Enhancing communication and teamwork skills 🌟 Exploring career interests and strengths 🌟 Understanding workplace safety and expectations We also provide community outings, volunteer experiences, and on-site vocational training to allow participants to practice these skills in real-world environments, including at our integrated thrift shop. Our team partners with each participant to create individualized employment goals that align with their interests, strengths, and abilities, supporting their journey toward greater independence and successful employment. Individual Supported Employment (ISE)Our Individual Supported Employment program supports adults with disabilities in finding and keeping meaningful, competitive jobs in the community with personalized, one-on-one coaching.
Participants receive tailored assistance to: 🌼 Explore career interests and strengths 🌼 Create resumes and complete job applications 🌼 Prepare for and practice interviews 🌼 Learn workplace expectations and routines 🌼 Receive on-the-job training and support 🌼 Build independence and natural workplace supports 🌼 Problem-solve workplace challenges as they arise Our experienced job coaches provide on-site, individualized support as participants begin new jobs, gradually reducing assistance as confidence and skills grow, while remaining available for ongoing guidance whenever needed. 🌼 The goal of Individual Supported Employment is to help each participant achieve long-term, meaningful employment that matches their goals and abilities, promoting independence and success in the workplace and community. |
Group Supported Employment (GSE)Our Group Supported Employment program provides adults with disabilities the opportunity to work in small groups with on-site support, helping them gain valuable job skills and experience while earning a paycheck.
Participants work together in real community job settings, such as retail stores, custodial teams, landscaping crews, or our integrated thrift shop, performing meaningful tasks while building: 🌿 Teamwork and social skills 🌿 Task completion and productivity 🌿 Workplace safety and appropriate behaviors 🌿 Communication and problem-solving skills 🌿 Time management and responsibility Participants are supported by skilled job coaches who provide training, guidance, and encouragement while fostering independence and confidence in the workplace. Group Supported Employment helps individuals transition toward greater independence, providing the structure and support needed to prepare for individual employment opportunities in the community when ready. DDD/ALTCS funding is accepted for eligible participants.
